折扣购物村 London Designer Outlet

据海外媒体报导，伦敦首个折扣商场London Designer Outlet 将于10月24日在伦敦揭幕。

 

London Designer Outlet，坐落于伦敦西北部Wembley Stadium 温布利球场旁边，面积为35万平方尺。该项目发展商Quintain Estates & Development PLC (LON:QED) 期望该地理位置能够吸引Wembley Stadium 温布利球场每年400万游客和伦敦当地市民消费，复制城外如中国人熟悉的Bicester Village 比斯特购物村、Cheshire Oaks 和Gunwharf Quays 等折扣购物村的成功。商场内还设有15家餐厅和一家大型电影院，为消费者提供一个时尚舒适全方位的购物中心。

 

 

 

  

目前，许多时尚品牌已经确定进驻London Designer Outlet，比如Clarks、Gap、L.K. Bennett、Marks & Spencer 玛莎、Superdry、Nike 耐克、Adidas 阿迪达斯和Asics 等。更值得一提的是，这些时尚品牌大部分都为为顾客提供30%-70%折扣的最新系列产品。

London's first designer outlet village offering discounts of up to 70 per cent on top brands is set to open this autumn near Wembley Stadium.

 

The London Designer Outlet will be the first centre of its kind inside the M25 with names such Superdry,  LK Bennett and Nick already signed up.

 

The developers hope to emulate the extraordinary success of Bicester Village, which is said to have the highest sales per square foot of any shopping centre in the world and where 65 per cent of shoppers are foreign.Detailed plans for the new centre - just ten miles from the West End - are set to be unveiled by developers Quintain next month with an opening date slated for October. It will have 85 shops, 15 restaurants and a nine screen cinema.

 

Discount villages such as Bicester and Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth sell end of season lines for huge markdowns typically in the 30 to 70 per cent range.Quintain believe the London Designer Outlet will benefit from the four million annual visitors to the stadium and an under-served local population.

The London Designer Outlet is more than 70 per cent let, with just one of the 15 restaurant units left. Other brands committed include Marks & Spencer, Adidas, Wagamama, Pret a Manger, Villeroy & Boch and Handmade Burger Co.Mr Saunders hopes that the restaurants and Cineworld cinema at the outlet will encourage sports fans to stay in the Wembley area longer, rather than paying the area a flying visit, as has been the case in the past.
