Ubuntu 发布 Edge 首款智慧型手机

          Linux OS 操作系统幕后的软件开发商 Ubuntu 近日发布首款智慧型手机 － Ubuntu Edge。旨在超越普通的智慧型手机，Ubuntu 尝试通过自身成熟的技术让 Edge 拥有与 PC 相当的强悍功能，为此便配备了多核处理器、4GB RAM、128GB 储存空间、LTE 芯片以及 4.5 寸蓝宝石水晶屏幕加持。

         除了运行原机配备的软件，Edge 还兼容 Android 操作系统。目前，Ubuntu 正在 indiegogo 进行资金筹募，每台定价为 ＄830 美元，目标筹集资金总额 $32,000,000 美元。

Ubuntu, the software developer behind Linux OS, has announced plans to develop its first smartphone, the Ubuntu Edge. More than just a smartphone, Ubuntu plans to give the Edge the ability to dock and become a desktop PC. To do so, Ubuntu intends to equip the phone with a multi-core processor, 4 GBs of RAM, 128 GBs of store, a duel-LTE chip and a crystal clear 4.5″ sapphire-crystal display. In addition to running its own software, the phone will also have Android compatibility with a dual-booting system. Ubuntu is currently trying to gain funding through indiegogo; pledge $830 USD and you’ll get your very own Edge should Ubuntu reach its funding goal of $32,000,000 USD.
