originally developed as a concept for red dot, the 'eye of the storm' watch by german design studio yesign has now realized the dial-less timepiece. instead of usingminute and hour hands, the device utilizes LED technology to light up the outer ring of the hand watch to display the time of day. 'it is not a watch for your dailyroutine, but something for parties at night, or special events,' says yesign studio. the water-proof accessory features a black cored-out surface similar to the shapeof a pebble with an internal housing for the battery and a rubber strap for durability.

The watch face features gold numerals and indices along with gold hands. The only parts of the watch not featured in gold are the luminescent marker at 12 o’clock and thedate window at 6 o’clock. Powering the watch is an accurate 6-hand quartz movement from Japan.
